I just spent the last 45 minutes on the phone with Cox Communications.
I now have a headache. [Although, I will say that they are significantly more pleasurable to deal with than Verizon.]
What is advertised as a $75 /mo package ends up being $98.
What is advertised as Advanced TV ends up being TV with an additional $5.OO /mo package.
Without buying a modem - and using the phone modem instead. Without buying a router through Cox.
It’s a pain in the ass, but I went through with it tentatively.
We have them scheduled to come out and install on Tuesday evening but I was assured I could call and cancel at any time prior to that if we decided against it.
